A Disciplined Approach to Discovery

First Development Resources plc (AIM: FDR) is an Australian-focused exploration company advancing a portfolio of highly prospective mineral projects, led by the flagship Selta Gold Project in the Northern Territory.

Through a disciplined and systematic approach, the Company is progressing multiple targets towards drilling whilst maintaining exposure to additional exploration opportunities across Western Australia.

100%-Owned Flagship Asset

The Selta Project in the Northern Territory represents the Company’s principal focus.

Recent exploration has identified multiple priority gold targets at Lander West, including shear zone, structural and intrusive targets generated through the integration of airborne geophysics, ground induced polarisation surveys and geological interpretation.

The Company is preparing to undertake its maiden drilling programme designed to test these targets.

Systematic and Disciplined Approach

First Development Resources adopts a methodical approach to exploration.
Extensive geophysical, geological and geochemical programmes are used to progressively refine targets and reduce exploration risk before drilling.
This philosophy is intended to maximise the effectiveness of exploration expenditure and preserve long-term shareholder value.

Multiple Opportunities for Discovery

The Company has identified several high-priority targets within the Selta Project. These include:

Lander West Shear Zone Targets
Major structural corridors associated with coincident geophysical responses.
M-Fold Target
A structurally complex fold feature interpreted to represent a favourable setting for gold mineralisation.
Intrusive Contact Targets
Targets associated with interpreted intrusive bodies and structural intersections. Together, these targets provide multiple opportunities to test different styles of mineralisation within the broader Selta system.

Advancing Towards Maiden Drilling

First Development Resources is preparing to commence its maiden reverse circulation drilling programme. Key milestones achieved include:
Airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys completed
Ground induced polarisation surveys completed
Environmental approvals secured
Mining Management Plan Certified
GeoDrill Australia Appointed
Northern Territory Government co-funding grant awarded

Independent Validation

In June 2026, First Development Resources was awarded an AU$100,000 Northern Territory Government co-funding grant under the Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations programme. The grant provides independent recognition of the quality of the Company’s exploration programme and supports the upcoming drilling campaign.

Experienced Leadership and Technical Capability

First Development Resources combines experienced corporate leadership with specialist technical expertise and high-quality contractors. The recent appointment of David Rawlings as Exploration Manager further strengthens the Company’s technical and operational capability as it advances towards drilling.

Exposure to Multiple Opportunities

In addition to the flagship Selta Project, First Development Resources maintains exposure to:

  • Wallal copper-gold project
  • Rare earth element opportunities
  • Lithium targets
  • Additional exploration opportunities across Western Australia and the Northern Territory

This portfolio provides shareholders with exposure to multiple commodities and discovery opportunities.

Positioned for Growth

First Development Resources believes its combination of high-quality assets, disciplined exploration philosophy and near-term catalysts provides a strong platform from which to pursue long-term shareholder value.
